Hope everyone is staying safe and keeping well.

Due to the current lockdown and ongoing restrictions, unfortunately we are unable to put on our usual January Pantomime in 2020.

Please be assured SHADES will be back bigger and better in 2021.

SHADES Panto Update

The latest update on holding our Annual SHADES Pantomime in 2021 is looking less and less likely.

Due to the current lockdown restrictions, we are unable to meet, and if restrictions are lifted we may only be able to meet in groups of 6, or no mixing indoors, so with a cast and crew of 30 plus an audience of 100, our normal panto will be impossible.

If the situation changes for the better in January, and we are keeping our fingers firmly crossed, there may be the possibility of putting on a POP UP Pantomime, which would be rehearsed and performed over a weekend.

We last put on a POP UP panto which was Snow White in 2015, this was due to a lack of cast members able to commit to the amount of rehearsals, so we know we can do it!!

We will keep you posted, but one is for certain we will be back in 2022, bigger and better!!!!

Panto Update

Hi There Panto Fans

Sorry we haven’t been in touch over the last few months, and we hope you are all doing well.

Due to the COVID-19 crisis we are still not in a position to confirm whether SHADES will be able to put on our Annual Pantomime in January 2021 in the Arbuthnot Hall, Shamley Green.

We are currently discussing options and the best way forward, we will keep you updated on the Panto situation as soon as we can.

Stay Safe

Thank You

Thank you to everyone who came out to support our 2019 pantomime of Rumpelstiltskin,
every audience was fantastic and we had a great time.
We donated £200 to this year's charity
Shooting Star Children's Hospice in Artington, Surrey.
Shooting Star are a leading children’s hospice charity caring for babies, children and young people with life-limiting conditions, and their families. They support families across Surrey and London from diagnosis to end of life and throughout bereavement with a range of nursing, practical, emotional and medical care.
It costs £10 million a year to maintain the current level of care and just 10% of that income comes from government funding, so they rely on supporters’ generosity to keep the service running.

Thank you all once again and see you next year

Thanks again

Thank you to everyone who came out to support our 2018 pantomime of Puss In Boots,
 every audience has been fantastic.
We donated an amazing £300 to this year's charity Challengers.

Established in 1979, provide play and youth centres in Guildford and Farnham & community based projects across Surrey, Hampshire, and beyond, safe, fun places and activities for children and young people from aged 2 to 25 and delivered more than 135,000 hours of play for 1,300 disabled children and young people in 2015.

After a terrible fire in a store cupboard in 2017, which destroyed the children's play area in their Guildford centre, they have finally reopened in March 2018, £300 could pay for 17 children to attend their afterschool club at one of Challengers wonderful play or youth schemes.
Challengers mission is to provide truly inclusive, fun and safe places where all disabled children and young people can spend time with their friends.  To offer a positive impact for families and the wider community. For more details check out their website

Thank you all once again and see you next year
